This unit opens up the concept of connections between things that have flight.. can you see how a bumble bee and a bomber might be connected with flight as a theme, or an eagle and a FA 18 Hornet? What FAT questions would explore the connections between these topics and lead to looking at similarities and differences, and create a sense of wonder?
Flight is a wonderful topic, motivating to both girls and boys, and leads to large variety of learning activities across the curriculum.
